Custom D, P, E and I profile foam seals and adhesive weatherstrips for door, window, equipment, insulation, dust-control and cushioning applications.

Select a foam seal from the working gap, target compression, closing force, mounting surface and exposure conditions. D and P profiles suit larger compressible gaps; E and I profiles are often considered for smaller gaps or flatter contact areas. Confirm adhesive compatibility on the real substrate before ordering.
Self-adhesive foam seals are widely used in door and window insulation, household hardware, packaging, cabinets and equipment gaps. They are easy to install and available in multiple shapes and colors. For standard retail roll options, view our black and white D-profile door seal rolls.
| Material | EPDM foam / PU foam / sponge options |
| Profile | D / P / E / I / custom |
| Color | Brown, white, black, grey or custom |
| Adhesive | Single-sided adhesive backing |
| Application | Door, window, cabinet, equipment sealing |
| Packing | Rolls, bags, cartons, OEM labels |
Compare the available cross-section sizes below before requesting a quotation. Dimensions are for one individual strip, not the combined width of a paired strip.
| Profile | Width (mm) | Thickness (mm) | Product details |
|---|---|---|---|
| D | 9 | 6 | D-profile foam seals |
| D | 9 | 7.5 | D-profile foam seals |
| P | 9 | 5 | Multi-profile weatherstrips |
| P | 9 | 5.5 | Multi-profile weatherstrips |
| P | 9 | 6 | Multi-profile weatherstrips |
| E | 9 | 4 | Multi-profile weatherstrips |
| I | 9 | 2 | Multi-profile weatherstrips |

How to read the dimensions: Width is measured across the adhesive mounting face; thickness is the uncompressed height above that face. The three P-profile thicknesses are separate options, not a tolerance range.
Size is not a guaranteed gap range. Confirm the working gap, compression, closing force and adhesive bond by fitting a sample to the actual door, window or equipment. No fixed gap range is specified for these options.
Larger D profiles are also available; confirm the cross-section drawing and dimension orientation before ordering. Roll length, paired-strip format, dimensional tolerances, minimum order quantity and production lead time must be confirmed for the selected specification.
A clear RFQ helps us recommend the right profile, foam and adhesive without guessing. Send the information below with a drawing or application photo.
| RFQ item | Information to provide |
|---|---|
| Working gap | Minimum and maximum gap, plus the compression needed after the door or panel closes. |
| Profile geometry | D, P, E, I or custom section; include cross-section dimensions or a sample when available. |
| Foam requirement | Material family, color, density or firmness target, and required recovery behavior. |
| Adhesive conditions | Bonding substrate, surface condition, installation temperature and service environment. |
| Supply format | Roll or cut length, order quantity, labeling, inner packing and carton requirements. |
| Validation | Application photo, drawing or sample for fit review before mass production. |
Tell us the gap, substrate and expected quantity. We can review the application, profile fit and adhesive requirements before quotation.
Adhesive performance depends on the substrate, surface preparation and temperature. Sample bond testing is recommended before production orders.
Adhesive performance depends on the complete joint—not only the tape name. Validate the selected construction on the actual substrate and under the intended installation and service conditions.
| Check | What to record | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Substrate | Material, paint or coating, texture and surface energy where known | Different surfaces require different adhesive systems |
| Preparation | Cleaning method, dryness and contamination control | Oil, dust, moisture and release agents can reduce bond quality |
| Installation | Application temperature, pressure, alignment and corner handling | Procedure affects initial contact and long-term stability |
| Joint movement | Working gap, target compression, opening cycles and shear/peel direction | Profile fit and adhesive load must be evaluated together |
| Service exposure | Temperature, UV, water, cleaners and expected service duration | Environmental exposure can change foam and adhesive behavior |
Do not use a catalog image or generic adhesive description as acceptance evidence. Agree the test surface, conditioning, test method and pass/fail criteria for the project.

Yes, self-adhesive versions include backing tape. Adhesive type can be discussed based on surface and use environment.
Roll length and packaging can be reviewed for distributor, retail and OEM orders. Available formats and MOQ depend on the selected profile and packing method.
The right profile depends on your gap size and compression requirement. Send the application photo for recommendation.
